MOVIE REVIEW
Mother had left her 3 children, their father, remarried and went to live abroad. When the father suddenly dies of unknown cause, Nuntha had to care for her 3 niece and nephews that her brother had left behind. To earn money to support the children Nuntha sells soya milk and fried doughnuts in the morning. It is an old family recipe handed down to her from her mother. She works hard and with love for her nieces and nephews. When Nuntha finds out that Chai, her dead brother had worked as undercover agent to gather evidence on powerful criminals due to an unfortunate misunderstanding she was murdered as well. Nuntha (Patcharapa Chaichua), even in her death still worries about her 3 nieces and nephews and how will they survive on their own so she continues to care for them as a ghost. When Police Colonel Sumet (Thana Suttikamon), Chai’s superior officer finds out that one of his agents had peculiarly died, he started the investigation. He was astonished to find out that the one raising these children is actually a ghost of their aunt Nuntha.

synopsis:

Chon, a med student, starts seeing a psychotherapist after he dreams about a woman who he had only met once in a restaurant.
In his dreams, a mysterious man murders her, slices her body into pieces, and flushes them down a toilet one by one. The murderous dreams haunt him into his waking memory, and eventually he feels as if his own body is being dissected and carved up by the surgical knife. Slowly, the terrifying images take control of him. He comes to believe that the dead woman is sending him messages through these nightmares. But these are not messages for him, they are meant for her murderer. They speak of revenge, and say: “I am still here.”

Synopsis:

Based on true stories, about three murder cases and its connection with one particular house. A female TV reporter is sent on a special mission to make a documentary about a murder cases happened 6 years ago, when a doctor’s wife was killed. It was a big news at the time because the murderer was the woman’s own husband, a well-known professor working for a famous medical institute in Bangkok.

As the female reporter researches deeply into the murder, she discovers two other cases that share many similarities to the first case. 8 years prior, a male medical student killed his girlfriend in a fit of jealousy and sliced her body into small pieces. In another case, that happened 40 years ago, known as ‘The Nuanchawee Case’, a nurse of the same name was murdered by her lover, a doctor.
The reporter begins to put the puzzle pieces together. Why are these crime so similar, yet happened 40 years apart? What she finds out, is more disturbing than the questions. What made these murderers kill their loved ones? Why were all men in the medical field? What did the common thread of disloyalty signify? Why was there so much passion and hatred in these relationships? But the most disturbing fact is that everybody involved had once lived in the same house at that medical institute.

The Coffin Movie Review – The Sequel
Chris (Ananda Everingdam), a claustrophobic architect, goes through the ritual to save his dying fiancee, Mariko. Sue (Karen Mok), a nutritionist from Hong Kong visits Thailand and does the same to save herself from cancer, one week before her wedding.
After that, both of them experience what appear to be miracles. To Chris’ delight, Mariko awakes from her coma. Sue not only survives a car accident, but also finds out that her cancer is gone.
However, strange and frightening things start to happen. Chris and Mariko are haunted by a woman in white (Napakpapha Naprasitte), and her baby. Sue’s fiancee, Jack dies suddenly in a car accident but spirit still lingers around her.

With the help of a professor specialising in paranormal cases related to the ritual, they set out to exorcise the ghosts haunting them and reverse the wheel of Karma.
